Scope
Cabinetry Category--Class "CA": The scope of work of a Class "CA" specialty building contractor shall include the scopes of work of the Finished Carpentry Category, Class "FC," Rough Carpentry Category, Class "RC," and the Cabinetry Category, Class "CB." In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "CA" specialty builder by the board, the applicant shall have at least three (3) years of practical experience in the category.
Examination Content Outline
The Carpentry Category – Class “CA” examination is based on trade-specific information pertaining to materials, tools, equipment, practices, terminology, and relevant laws. The examination is a two (2) hour, open book exam that consists of 50 questions.
