Scope
Dredging (Canals, Lakes, Waterways)--Class "C." The scope of work of a Class "C" engineered earthwork builder shall include and be limited to the dredging of canals, lakes, waterways, and other bodies of water and the removal therefrom of debris and vegetation, in compliance with all environmental laws, the building code, and other applicable codes and regulations. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "C" engineered earthwork builder by the board, the applicant shall have at least four (4) years of experience in the class.
Examination Content Outline
The Dredging--Class C examination is based on trade-specific information pertaining to materials, tools, equipment, practices, terminology, and relevant laws. The examination is a one and one-half (1 1/2) hour, open book exam that consists of 25 questions.
