Scope

Insulation means a person who possesses the knowledge, ability and skill to perform insulation work in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor and in compliance with the building code and other applicable codes and regulations. Such person shall have no less three (3) years of practical insulation experience, or no less than one-half of the practical experience required for certification in the specialty insulation category or class for which the applicant is seeking certification as a journeyman.

Examination Content Outline

The examination is based on trade-specific information pertaining to materials, tools, equipment, practices, terminology, and relevant laws. It is a two (2) hour, open book examination that consists of 50 questions.
